Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, repeat them back to guests for confirmation, and enter them promptly into the POS system.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of dishes and drinks, addressing any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Monitor tables throughout service, refilling drinks, clearing plates, and responding to guest inquiries promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting and resetting tables according to restaurant standards.
- Handle cash and electronic payments securely, issue receipts, and process end‑of‑shift cash reconciliations.
- Assist in opening and closing duties such as polishing silverware, restocking service stations, and preparing the dining room for the next service.
- Provide recommendations on menu items, specials, and wine pairings, enhancing the overall guest experience.
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations, reporting any concerns to management immediately.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by communicating effectively with coworkers and supporting colleagues during busy periods.
Requirements
- Age: Maximum 30 years.
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- No current enrollment in college or other commitments that would interfere with full‑time availability.
- Prior experience in food and beverage service is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a courteous attitude.
- Strong teamwork orientation and willingness to assist in various restaurant functions.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
