We are currently seeking enthusiastic and self‑motivated individuals to join our field team as Business Partners (Petugas Lapangan) in the vibrant region of Singkawang and surrounding districts including Bengkayang, Selakau, Pemangkat, Jawai, Tebas, Sambas, and Teluk Keramat.
As a Business Partner, you will become the face of Amartha in the community, building trust with potential partners, supporting existing borrowers, and ensuring smooth loan repayment cycles. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible social impact while developing a robust skill set in sales, community outreach, and micro‑finance operations.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new partners for Amartha’s micro‑finance programs through door‑to‑door visits, community events, and local networking.
- Conduct in‑depth household economic assessments to determine eligibility and financing needs, adhering to Amartha’s underwriting guidelines.
- Provide ongoing financial education and counseling to existing borrowers, helping them manage cash flow, budgeting, and loan repayment.
- Perform field surveys and feasibility analyses, documenting findings in the company’s CRM system with accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor repayment schedules, follow up on overdue installments, and coordinate with the credit team to resolve any issues.
- Maintain a personal motorbike and a valid SIM C for efficient travel across assigned territories.
- Report weekly performance metrics, including new partner acquisition, loan disbursement numbers, and repayment health, to the regional manager.
- Uphold Amartha’s high standards of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in every interaction.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Ownership of a reliable motorcycle and a valid Indonesian driving license (SIM C).
- Strong personal integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and a disciplined work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse community members.
- Resilience and the capacity to work independently in remote locations.
- Basic proficiency with mobile applications and data entry tools used for field reporting.
- No upper age limit; candidates of any gender are welcome.
- Prior experience in sales, community outreach, or micro‑finance is a plus but not required.
