Responsibilities
- Prospect and acquire new borrowers: Identify potential micro‑entrepreneurs and households in the Bandung region, conduct outreach, and present Amartha’s loan products in a compelling, culturally‑sensitive manner.
- Economic household coaching: Provide continuous financial literacy support, help families develop budgeting habits, and monitor the impact of loan utilization on household income and savings.
- Feasibility surveys and credit analysis: Perform on‑site visits to gather detailed financial data, assess business viability, and evaluate creditworthiness in line with Amartha’s risk‑assessment framework and regulatory policies.
- Collections and repayment monitoring: Execute timely collection activities, track repayment schedules, resolve payment issues, and maintain accurate records of borrower interactions.
- Reporting and documentation: Compile daily and weekly field reports, update the CRM system with client insights, and share actionable feedback with the regional operations team to refine outreach strategies.
- Community relationship building: Establish strong ties with local community leaders, cooperatives, and partner organizations to enhance Amartha’s reputation and facilitate smoother loan disbursement processes.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑30 years (maximum 33 years accepted for broader eligibility).
- Gender: Open to all; preference for female candidates but not mandatory.
- Possession of a personal motor vehicle for daily field visits.
- Demonstrated integrity, honesty, meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills, resilience, and disciplined work habits.
- Willingness to work in the field every day, often in diverse and remote locations.
- No prior experience required; however, any background in sales, community outreach, or micro‑finance is a plus.
- Basic digital literacy for using Amartha’s mobile and web applications to record surveys and process loan applications.
