Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Motorcycle Mechanic (Mekanik Motor) to join our service team at our Bojongsari and Parung locations. This full‑time position offers a dynamic work environment where you will engage directly with customers, assist senior technicians, and ensure that every motorbike leaves the workshop in optimal condition. The ideal candidate is a diligent, honest, and disciplined individual who possesses a solid understanding of motorcycle spare parts and enjoys both independent and collaborative work.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair a wide range of motorcycle issues, including engine, transmission, electrical, and suspension systems.
- Identify and recommend the appropriate spare parts needed for each repair, ensuring compatibility and quality.
- Prepare, organize, and manage inventory of spare parts, coordinating with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain technical problems, repair options, and estimated costs, fostering trust and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with senior mechanics and service advisors to prioritize workflow and meet daily service targets.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly workshop environment in accordance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Document all repairs and parts usage in the shop’s management system for accurate record‑keeping and warranty tracking.
- Participate in continuous training sessions to stay current with the latest motorcycle technologies, diagnostic tools, and industry best practices.
- Provide occasional mentorship to junior staff or apprentices, sharing knowledge about part identification and repair techniques.
- Adhere to the established work schedule of Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, and be flexible to assist during peak service periods.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Male candidates only, as per the specific operational requirements of the location.
- At least basic experience or strong familiarity with motorcycle mechanics and spare‑part catalogues.
- Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and a disciplined work ethic.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to explain technical details to non‑technical customers.
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
- Willingness to travel to and work at the Bojongsari and Parung service centers.
- Physical stamina to handle lifting, standing, and moving motorcycle components throughout the workday.
- Basic computer literacy for entering service orders and updating inventory records.
