This field‑based role focuses on expanding our borrower network, providing on‑site economic support, and ensuring the smooth operation of loan disbursement and repayment processes. The position is based in the Purwakarta region, with daily field activities in Cikalong Wetan and surrounding villages.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new borrowers, encouraging them to join Amartha’s capital‑loan programs.
- Conduct door‑to‑door visits and community outreach to raise awareness of micro‑finance opportunities.
- Provide continuous economic counseling and financial literacy support to existing members, helping households improve budgeting, savings, and income diversification.
- Perform on‑site surveys and feasibility analyses for loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s underwriting standards, risk‑assessment procedures, and regulatory policies.
- Prepare detailed field reports, including credit‑worthiness scores, collateral assessments, and repayment capacity evaluations.
- Coordinate with the central credit team to process approved applications and facilitate timely disbursement of funds.
- Execute systematic collection activities, following respectful yet firm debt‑recovery protocols, and record all interactions in the company’s CRM system.
- Collaborate with local partners, community leaders, and NGOs to build trust and create a supportive ecosystem for borrowers.
- Participate in regular training sessions and share best practices with peers to continuously improve field performance.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 18–30 years (maximum 33 years as per original posting).
- Open to all genders; female candidates are highly preferred.
- Possession of a personal motorized vehicle for daily travel to field sites.
- Strong personal integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and disciplined work habits.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Resilience and toughness to work independently in remote or rural environments.
- No prior experience required; however, previous exposure to sales, community outreach, or micro‑finance is advantageous.
- Basic digital literacy, including familiarity with mobile data collection apps and spreadsheet tools.
