Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Cashier – Retail Transaction and Customer Service Specialist to join our fast‑paced retail and café environment. Responsibilities
- Process all cash, credit, and digital transactions accurately using our point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers warmly, answer product inquiries, and recommend menu items to enhance sales.
- Operate espresso machines, juicers, and dessert equipment efficiently, adhering to standardized recipes.
- Maintain strict food‑safety and hygiene protocols, including regular cleaning of workstations and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels, perform daily stock counts, and communicate replenishment needs to the store manager.
- Develop and test new beverage concepts, contributing creative ideas to keep the menu fresh and appealing.
- Handle customer complaints or special requests with professionalism, turning challenges into positive experiences.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and end‑of‑day reporting.
- Work flexible hours, including potential overtime, to meet peak‑period demands (Monday–Saturday, 08:00–17:00).
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a tidy, welcoming environment that reflects our brand standards.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 30 years or younger.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a barista or in a similar cash‑handling role.
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude toward guests and coworkers.
- Proficient in operating espresso machines, juicers, and dessert preparation equipment.
- Strong understanding of hygiene standards, food safety regulations, and inventory control.
- Demonstrated ability to create innovative drink recipes and adapt to seasonal menu changes.
- Flexibility to work overtime when required, especially during promotional periods or holidays.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Basic computer literacy, particularly familiarity with POS and cash‑register systems.
