Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and continuously refine innovative menu concepts that reflect both local flavors and international trends.
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring timely preparation and service for all hotel restaurants, room service, and event catering.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate a diverse culinary team, fostering a culture of teamwork, continuous learning, and professional growth.
- Maintain strict compliance with food safety regulations, HACCP standards, and hotel quality control procedures.
- Manage inventory, control food costs, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Director and hotel management on budgeting, menu pricing, and promotional initiatives.
- Oversee kitchen equipment maintenance, ensuring all tools are in proper working condition and meet safety standards.
- Coordinate with banquet and events teams to design customized menus for weddings, conferences, and corporate functions.
- Stay abreast of culinary trends, attending workshops and industry events to bring fresh ideas to the hotel’s culinary offering.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; culinary school training is a plus.
- Age: Open to all age groups, with a focus on experience and dedication.
