Introduction
The City of Padang is seeking motivated and diligent individuals to join our Mitra Program Penawaran Denda team. As a field representative, you will play a pivotal role in engaging with citizens who have outstanding fines, offering them clear and fair payment options, and helping them achieve full settlement. This position is based in Padang and requires a commitment to excellent customer service, strong ethical standards, and a willingness to work on-site across the city from Monday through Saturday.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site visits to consumers who have been notified of fines but have not yet completed payment.
- Present tailored payment or settlement proposals, explaining terms, deadlines, and any applicable discounts.
- Negotiate with customers to reach mutually agreeable repayment schedules while ensuring compliance with municipal regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all interactions, proposals offered, and agreements reached using the city’s digital tracking system.
- Coordinate with the finance and legal departments to verify payment receipts and update the status of each case.
- Prepare daily and weekly activity reports, highlighting successes, challenges, and any escalated issues.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay informed about changes in penalty policies, negotiation techniques, and customer service best practices.
- Promote a positive image of the city government by treating every citizen with respect, honesty, and professionalism.
- Assist in developing outreach strategies, such as community workshops or informational flyers, to raise awareness about the importance of timely fine settlement.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols while traveling on a motorbike throughout the city.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 21 years or older; no upper age limit.
- Valid motorcycle (Sepeda Motor) and a current SIM C driver’s license.
- High level of personal integrity and a “never give up” attitude.
- Willingness to work in the field, including weekends (Monday‑Saturday).
- Strong target‑orientation with the ability to meet and exceed collection goals.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to convey complex information in simple terms.
- Resilience and toughness in handling difficult conversations and occasional confrontational situations.
- Honesty, responsibility, and a commitment to upholding the city’s reputation.
- Basic proficiency in using mobile devices and data entry applications for real‑time reporting.
