Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Canvassing Penjualan to join our fast‑growing perfume industry team. This field‑based sales role focuses on expanding our market presence by visiting retail outlets, small and medium enterprises (UMKM), and prospective customers throughout the region. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for fragrance products, and the drive to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily canvassing trips to retail stores, UMKM partners, and potential clients to promote our premium perfume lines.
- Present product features, provide fragrance samples, and tailor recommendations based on customer preferences and market trends.
- Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with merchants and end‑users, ensuring high levels of repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and promotional deals, closing sales efficiently while maintaining profit margins.
- Achieve individual sales quotas and contribute to regional targets, reporting performance metrics to the sales manager on a weekly basis.
- Monitor competitor activity, market shifts, and emerging consumer trends to identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of visits, orders, and customer feedback using the company’s CRM system.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to provide field insights that help shape future fragrance collections.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, local regulations, and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven sales experience, preferably in the perfume, cosmetics, or related beauty industry.
- Possession of a valid motorbike (M) and a SIM C driving licence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities, with a customer‑centric mindset.
- Self‑motivated, resilient, and comfortable working independently in the field.
- Ability to manage time effectively, plan routes, and meet daily/weekly targets.
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with mobile CRM applications and Microsoft Office.
