Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated and results‑driven Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) – Corporate Finance Management to join our dynamic finance team. This pivotal role will oversee all accounting functions, drive strategic financial planning, and ensure the integrity of financial reporting for our portfolio of 3‑ and 4‑star hotels. Responsibilities
- Lead the entire accounting department, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, tax, and fixed‑asset management.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls in accordance with local regulations and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and coordinate external audits.
- Partner with the CFO to produce forecasts, budgets, and long‑term financial models that support strategic decision‑making for hotel operations and capital projects.
- Analyze variances, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and present actionable insights to senior management.
- Ensure timely and compliant tax filings, liaise with tax authorities, and manage tax planning initiatives.
- Oversee cash‑flow management, treasury activities, and banking relationships to maintain optimal liquidity.
- Mentor, coach, and develop a high‑performing accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with hotel general managers, revenue managers, and operations teams to align financial performance with operational goals.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as RevPAR, GOP, and EBITDA, providing regular performance reports to the executive board.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is strongly preferred.
- Age: up to 35 years old.
- Gender: open to all genders.
- At least 2–4 years of experience in a similar accounting leadership role within a 3‑ or 4‑star hotel or comparable hospitality operation.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or hotel‑specific ERP systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence and build relationships across all organizational levels.
- Highly energetic, enthusiastic, and target‑oriented with a proven track record of meeting deadlines in a high‑volume environment.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is an advantage.
