Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of office spaces, common areas, restrooms, and conference rooms to maintain a hygienic environment for staff and visitors.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish hard‑floor surfaces and carpeted areas, ensuring no debris or stains are left behind.
- Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and manage waste segregation according to local recycling guidelines.
- Maintain and replenish cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment, and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify any maintenance issues, such as leaks, broken fixtures, or safety hazards, and document findings in a daily log.
- Adhere to health, safety, and infection‑control protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to coordinate larger tasks such as deep‑cleaning projects, floor waxing, and window washing.
- Respond promptly to special cleaning requests from clients, such as post‑event clean‑ups or emergency spill containment.
- Work under pressure during peak periods while maintaining high standards of quality and punctuality.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum of SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: Prior experience in a cleaning or facilities‑maintenance role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Age: No strict maximum age; candidates should be physically fit to perform manual tasks.
- Key competencies:
- Strong communication skills – able to understand instructions and interact courteously with clients.
- Honesty, reliability, and a sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
- Capability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Basic computer literacy for using the store management system (Sistem Manajemen Toko) to log activities and request supplies.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language skills are a plus.
