Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Retail Representative to join our fast‑growing FMCG team in Sidoarjo. This full‑time position is ideal for a results‑driven individual who thrives in a mobile, field‑based environment and enjoys building strong relationships with retail outlets. As a key member of our sales force, you will play an essential role in expanding product reach, executing promotional activities, and delivering exceptional customer service across a defined route network.
The role offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Saturday, providing a balanced blend of on‑the‑road activity and administrative responsibilities. Candidates must be male, aged 35 or younger, and hold a minimum of a D3/D4 (associate) degree. If you have at least one year of experience in sales canvassing, FMCG, or tobacco distribution, and possess a valid SIM C driver’s license with a motorbike, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
- Conduct direct sales visits to retail outlets within the assigned territory, ensuring product availability and optimal shelf placement.
- Implement promotional programs at each outlet, set up point‑of‑sale materials (POSM), and monitor the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- Respond promptly to retailer inquiries and product complaints, escalating issues to the Team Leader while maintaining a professional and solution‑focused attitude.
- Collect, verify, and update outlet data and market intelligence, feeding accurate information into the company’s CRM system.
- Complete all sales administration in line with standard operating procedures, including stock reconciliation, cash handling, and daily sales reporting.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any supply‑chain disruptions.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings, share field insights, and contribute ideas for improving route efficiency and sales performance.
- Maintain personal safety and the upkeep of your motorbike, adhering to all traffic regulations during field work.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate degree) – a bachelor’s degree (S1) is a plus.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in sales canvassing, FMCG, or tobacco product distribution.
- Active SIM C driver’s license and personal motorbike for field mobility.
- Willingness and ability to work mobile/field‑based with a flexible schedule.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and persuade retail buyers.
- Excellent time‑management and route‑planning capabilities.
- Proficiency in using smartphones, GPS navigation, and basic sales reporting tools.
