Introduction

The Contact Center Telecollection team is a vital component of our fast‑growing e‑commerce operation based in Sleman, Yogyakarta. As a Telecollector, you will engage directly with customers to secure timely payments, support cash‑flow stability, and reinforce our reputation for reliable service. This position operates on a rotating shift schedule (08:00 – 21:00, Monday to Saturday) and offers an immediate start for motivated candidates ready to join a dynamic, technology‑driven environment.

We are looking for fresh graduates and entry‑level professionals who are eager to develop their negotiation and communication skills while contributing to the financial health of an online retail business that serves thousands of shoppers each month.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate outbound calls and send electronic reminders to customers with outstanding invoices, ensuring clear and courteous communication.
  • Negotiate payment terms and settlement dates, adapting strategies to individual customer circumstances while protecting company interests.
  • Verify that all collection activities comply with internal policies, legal regulations, and data‑privacy standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of each interaction in the CRM system, documenting payment promises, disputes, and follow‑up actions.
  • Collaborate with the finance and customer‑service teams to resolve billing inquiries, order issues, or technical problems that may affect payment.
  • Identify patterns of delinquency and provide actionable insights to the senior management team for process improvement.
  • Participate in regular training sessions on negotiation techniques, product knowledge, and compliance updates.
  • Support the development of scripts and best‑practice guidelines to enhance the efficiency of the telecollection process.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; Diploma (D3) to Bachelor’s (S1) candidates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Age: 35 years or younger.
  • Gender: Open to all genders.
  • No prior work experience required – fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Not currently enrolled in a study program or employed elsewhere; must be able to join immediately.
  • Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule, including weekends.
  • Strong verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia, with an emphasis on polite and persuasive language.
  • Basic computer literacy and comfort using CRM or call‑center software.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle objections, stay calm under pressure, and maintain a solution‑focused mindset.
  • High level of integrity, reliability, and respect for customer confidentiality.
