Responsibilities
- Welcome passengers aboard, assist with boarding procedures, and guide them to their seats while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct pre‑flight cabin checks, verify emergency equipment, and demonstrate safety briefings in a clear, courteous manner.
- Provide attentive in‑flight service, including the preparation and presentation of meals, beverages, and special dietary requests.
- Respond promptly to passenger inquiries, resolve minor complaints, and coordinate with the flight deck for any operational issues.
- Monitor cabin conditions throughout the flight, enforce seat‑belt signs, and manage turbulence protocols to maintain passenger safety.
- Assist passengers with special needs, such as the elderly, children, or individuals with disabilities, ensuring a comfortable journey for all.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the cabin, including waste collection, restocking of supplies, and post‑flight turnover.
- Collaborate closely with fellow crew members, ground staff, and supervisors to achieve seamless flight operations.
- Participate in regular training sessions, emergency drills, and performance evaluations to keep skills current and meet regulatory standards.
- Promote the airline’s values, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to a smoke‑free environment throughout all interactions.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Maximum 35 years old.
- Gender: All genders are welcome.
- Religion: Must be Muslim, in accordance with company policy.
- Work experience: At least 6 months in a similar steward or cabin crew role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including six‑day workweeks (Monday‑Saturday) from 08:00 to 17:00.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy luggage, stand for long periods, and handle emergency situations calmly.
- Non‑smoker preferred, reflecting the airline’s commitment to a healthy cabin environment.
- Proficiency in food and beverage service techniques, including safe handling and presentation.
- Basic knowledge of aviation safety regulations and emergency procedures.
