Introduction
We are seeking an experienced Senior Cook (Pengelola Dapur Restoran) to lead the kitchen operations of our bustling restaurant. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and inventory control.
- Develop and execute menu items that reflect the restaurant’s concept while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Train, mentor, and schedule junior kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to hygiene and safety standards.
- Monitor food costs, portion control, and waste reduction to meet budgetary targets.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to select fresh, high‑quality ingredients and manage supplier relationships.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with local health regulations.
- Handle special dietary requests and accommodate guest allergies with precision and care.
- Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu updates, seasonal specials, and operational improvements.
- Assist in the planning and execution of large events, banquets, and catering orders.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and report any issues promptly.
Requirements
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Education: Minimum SMA/SMK; preferred D3/D4 or S1 in Culinary Arts or related field.
- Experience: At least 1–2 years in a similar senior cooking or kitchen‑lead position; fresh graduates may be considered for entry‑level daily worker roles.
- Strong understanding of hotel and restaurant operations, including HACCP and food safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills with a hospitality mindset focused on guest satisfaction.
