The role of Business Partner – Staff Lapangan is pivotal in expanding our outreach, fostering financial inclusion, and supporting the economic development of households that partner with Amartha’s innovative lending programs.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new potential borrowers by conducting community outreach, attending local events, and leveraging digital marketing tools to attract candidates for Amartha’s loan programs.
- Provide hands‑on economic coaching and financial literacy guidance to existing members, helping them manage household budgets, improve cash flow, and grow their businesses.
- Conduct on‑site surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring each request complies with Amartha’s underwriting policies, risk criteria, and procedural standards.
- Prepare comprehensive recommendation reports for the credit committee, presenting clear justifications, risk assessments, and repayment plans.
- Accompany members to weekly coordination meetings, monitor transaction activities, and resolve any service‑related issues that arise during the loan cycle.
- Maintain accurate field data records, update the CRM system regularly, and report key performance indicators to the regional manager.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including product development, marketing, and risk control—to refine service delivery and enhance the borrower experience.
- Travel across assigned districts, using a personal two‑wheel vehicle, and optionally reside in provided mess accommodations to ensure maximum field presence.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; candidates with a bachelor’s degree (S1) are strongly preferred.
- Age: Applicants up to 33 years old are eligible.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: Fresh graduates are welcome; prior experience in field sales, micro‑finance, or community outreach is an advantage.
- Transportation: Ownership of a reliable motorbike (roda 2) is required for field mobility.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust in rural communities.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work on‑site in Purbalingga and be assigned to any Amartha branch nationwide.
- Residency: Optional willingness to stay in company‑provided mess facilities to maximize outreach efficiency.
