Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Petugas Kebersihan (Cleaning Officer) to join our facility management team in Surakarta. Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of all assigned indoor and outdoor areas, ensuring floors, surfaces, and restrooms are spotless.
- Perform routine sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing tasks using appropriate cleaning equipment and environmentally friendly products.
- Collect, sort, and dispose of waste according to local regulations, and manage recycling programs to promote sustainability.
- Monitor and restock sanitation supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper, notifying supervisors of low inventory.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues (e.g., leaks, broken fixtures) to the facilities team promptly.
- Follow safety protocols, including the proper handling of chemicals, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adherence to fire‑exit and evacuation procedures.
- Assist with deep‑cleaning projects on a scheduled basis, such as carpet shampooing, window washing, and post‑event clean‑up.
- Maintain accurate logs of cleaning activities and submit daily reports to the shift supervisor.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless operation of the facility during peak hours and special events.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates, maximum age of 35 years.
- No prior experience required; however, previous cleaning or facility‑maintenance experience is considered a strong advantage.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 20 kg for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to follow written instructions and report issues clearly.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude toward teamwork.
- Willingness to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 16:00.
