Responsibilities
As a crew member, you will rotate through several stations to ensure smooth restaurant operations and deliver an outstanding dining experience. Your core duties include:
- Learning and mastering all job desks and positions within the restaurant, including cashier, server, noodle preparation, bar, dim sum, production, and clean‑up areas.
- Providing prompt, friendly, and accurate service to customers, handling orders, and addressing inquiries.
- Operating the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently, processing payments, and maintaining cash handling accuracy.
- Preparing and presenting food and beverage items according to Mie Gacoan’s quality standards.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in all work areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Supporting fellow team members during peak periods by flexibly moving between stations (rolling station).
- Participating in daily briefings, training sessions, and performance reviews to continuously improve service quality.
- Ensuring that the dining area is welcoming, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Requirements
Successful candidates will meet the following criteria:
- Maximum age of 30 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK/MA or equivalent (all majors accepted).
- No prior work experience required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interest in the food & beverage industry, particularly in restaurant service.
- Excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a genuine desire to work.
- Good physical health with no chronic illnesses that could affect performance.
- Willingness to work flexible shift schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to perform a variety of tasks such as barista duties, cash handling, customer service, and basic food preparation.
