Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Guru Bahasa Inggris – Trainer to join our vibrant learning centre located in Kebon Jeruk. This full‑time position is ideal for recent graduates or passionate language enthusiasts who are fluent in English and love inspiring young minds. You will be part of a supportive team dedicated to delivering high‑quality English instruction to children while also contributing to our outreach and marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging English lessons to children aged 4‑12, using age‑appropriate methodologies and interactive activities.
- Plan, develop, and continuously update teaching materials, worksheets, and multimedia resources that align with curriculum standards.
- Assess learner progress through informal observations, quizzes, and regular feedback, adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with fellow trainers to share best practices, coordinate class schedules, and maintain a consistent teaching approach.
- Participate in promotional events, open houses, and community outreach programs to attract new students and enhance the centre’s visibility.
- Maintain accurate attendance and performance records, and provide weekly reports to the centre manager.
- Uphold a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and confidence.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a diploma or degree in Education, English, or related fields is a plus.
- Fluent spoken and written English with clear pronunciation.
- Genuine enthusiasm for teaching young children and fostering a love of language.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; any prior experience teaching English is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication, patience, creativity, and the ability to manage a classroom of energetic learners.
- Strong organizational skills and the flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 09:00 – 17:00.
- Willingness to engage in marketing‑related activities, such as social‑media content creation and community events.
