Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive antenatal assessments, including routine examinations, ultrasound evaluations, and risk stratification for pregnant patients.
- Manage labor and delivery processes, ensuring safe, evidence‑based practices for vaginal births, cesarean sections, and assisted deliveries.
- Treat a broad spectrum of gynecologic conditions such as abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, endometriosis, and reproductive endocrinology disorders.
- Perform minor and major surgical procedures, including hysterectomies, laparoscopic interventions, and fertility‑preserving surgeries.
- Collaborate closely with neonatologists, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and allied health professionals to provide coordinated, patient‑centered care.
- Document all patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record system, adhering to hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in on‑call rotations, emergency obstetric care, and after‑hours consultations as required.
- Mentor junior residents, medical interns, and nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Engage in clinical research, quality improvement projects, and community outreach programs to advance the field of women’s health.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of national and international guidelines, incorporating best practices into daily clinical routines.
Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) degree with a recognized specialization in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Active and valid Indonesian Medical Practitioner License (STR) and Practice Permit (SIP).
- Minimum of 2 years of post‑specialization clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology, preferably in a high‑volume hospital setting.
- Demonstrated competence in managing prenatal care, labor and delivery, and common gynecologic surgeries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
- Professional demeanor, strong ethical standards, and a commitment to patient safety.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends (Monday‑Saturday) from 08:00 to 17:00, and occasional on‑call duties.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language skills are a plus.
