Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Pengajar Privat Bahasa Yunani untuk Pelajar Dewasa to join our growing team of language professionals. This position is designed for individuals who possess a strong command of both spoken and written Greek and who are passionate about helping adult learners achieve fluency. The role is fully online, allowing you to connect with students from various regions across Indonesia, while enjoying the flexibility of a modern, digital classroom environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver customized Greek language lessons for adult learners, focusing on conversational fluency, grammar, reading, and writing skills.
- Assess each student’s proficiency level and tailor lesson plans to address specific goals, such as travel preparation, academic study, or professional communication.
- Conduct live sessions via Zoom or Google Meet, ensuring clear audio‑visual quality and interactive participation.
- Provide constructive feedback on assignments, pronunciation, and written work, and track progress through regular evaluations.
- Create supplemental learning materials—including worksheets, audio recordings, and digital quizzes—to reinforce classroom instruction.
- Maintain a professional and supportive online presence, responding promptly to student inquiries and scheduling changes.
- Collaborate with the curriculum development team to update course content in line with current linguistic trends and educational best practices.
- Participate in periodic training webinars to enhance teaching techniques and stay current with e‑learning technologies.
- Uphold the organization’s standards of confidentiality, data security, and academic integrity.
- Assist in promotional activities, such as sharing success stories and testimonials on social media platforms, when appropriate.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Linguistics, Education, Greek Studies, or a related field.
- Fluency in Greek (both spoken and written) with the ability to explain linguistic concepts clearly in Bahasa Indonesia or English.
- Prior teaching experience—formal classroom or informal tutoring—considered a strong advantage.
- Proficiency with online teaching tools (Zoom, Google Meet, digital whiteboards) and basic troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and a responsible attitude toward student success.
- Own reliable computer, webcam, microphone, and stable internet connection suitable for high‑quality video sessions.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, with available hours between 08:00 and 17:00.
- Ability to manage time effectively, set clear learning objectives, and adapt teaching methods to diverse adult learning styles.
- Strong organizational skills for scheduling, record‑keeping, and reporting student progress.
