Introduction
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver Truk Dump – Operasional Transportasi to join our growing logistics team in Riau. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy‑duty dump trucks, delivering materials to construction sites, and ensuring that all vehicle maintenance and regulatory requirements are met. Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks in compliance with all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Load, transport, and unload bulk materials such as sand, gravel, and construction debris at designated sites.
- Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs promptly.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, including checking oil levels, tire pressure, and brakes.
- Plan and follow optimal routes to minimize fuel consumption and delivery time while adhering to scheduled windows.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, fuel receipts, and incident reports using company-provided paperwork or digital tools.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, loading dock staff, and the dispatch office to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to health and safety standards, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and participation in regular safety briefings.
- Respond quickly to minor mechanical issues on the road, applying troubleshooting skills to keep the truck moving safely.
- Support the transportation team by providing feedback on route efficiency, equipment performance, and potential process improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: elementary school (SD), junior high (SMP), or vocational school (SMK) equivalent.
- Male candidates only, age not exceeding 48 years.
- Valid SIM BII Umum (commercial driving license) with no restrictions.
- At least 2 years of proven experience driving dump trucks or similar heavy‑load vehicles.
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and resolve minor technical problems.
- Strong sense of discipline, responsibility, and a solid work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with site personnel and dispatch staff.
- Preferred residence in Riau or surrounding areas to ensure timely attendance.
