Introduction
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our finance team as Accounting Interns (Magang Akuntansi). This 3‑month paid internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a dynamic financial environment, working alongside seasoned professionals. Ideal candidates are recent graduates or final‑year students who have completed their thesis or final project and are eager to apply academic knowledge to real‑world accounting and finance tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and posting journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.
- Support daily bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Help compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local regulations.
- Participate in the preparation of tax documents, including PPN, PPh21, and corporate tax filings.
- Gather, clean, and analyze financial data to assist senior accountants in budgeting and forecasting.
- Contribute to internal audit processes by providing requested documentation and explanations.
- Maintain and update the company’s accounting software and spreadsheets.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—such as procurement, sales, and HR—to verify transaction details.
- Prepare supporting schedules and reports for management review meetings.
- Engage in continuous learning activities, including workshops on financial analysis, ERP systems, and regulatory updates.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum D3/D4 (or S1) in Accounting or Finance.
- Completed thesis or final project; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Open to all genders; applicants must be of the Islamic faith as per company policy.
- Willingness to commit to a full‑time, 3‑month program.
- Own a reliable computer and stable internet connection for occasional remote tasks.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP, MYOB) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is advantageous.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive attitude.
