Responsibilities
- Design and deliver customized lesson plans for primary and secondary school students, aligning with the national curriculum and individual learning objectives.
- Assess student progress through regular quizzes, assignments, and informal observations, providing constructive feedback to both students and parents.
- Maintain a disciplined yet supportive classroom atmosphere, ensuring punctuality, preparedness, and respect for the learning environment.
- Collaborate with parents to discuss academic performance, set realistic goals, and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
- Develop supplementary teaching materials such as worksheets, visual aids, and digital resources to reinforce key concepts.
- Stay current with educational best practices, incorporating innovative teaching methods and technology tools (e.g., interactive whiteboards, educational apps).
- Manage scheduling and travel logistics efficiently, arriving at the student’s residence on time for each session.
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism, respecting the privacy of the family and adhering to all safety protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Education or a related field; a bachelor’s degree in Education is preferred.
- Residence within Kabupaten Jepara or willingness to commute daily.
- Demonstrated ability to teach effectively, with strong subject‑matter knowledge in core school subjects.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: patient, disciplined, responsible, and able to build rapport with children and parents.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00–17:00, with occasional adjustments for exam periods.
