Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and deliver comprehensive Islamic Religious Education (Pendidikan Agama Islam) curricula for grades 10‑12, aligning with national standards and school objectives.
- Prepare lesson plans that incorporate multimedia resources, interactive activities, and differentiated instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
- Develop and maintain digital learning media, such as PowerPoint presentations, educational videos, and online quizzes, using IT tools and educational software.
- Facilitate Qur’an memorization sessions, ensuring students achieve a minimum memorization of Juz 30, and provide guidance on Tajweed and proper recitation.
- Teach Arabic language fundamentals, enabling students to read, understand, and interpret primary Islamic texts.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback and individualized support.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, school counselors, and administrators to integrate Islamic values across extracurricular programs and school events.
- Participate in professional development workshops, including PPG PraJab and other certification programs, to stay current with educational best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student achievements, complying with school reporting protocols.
- Act as a mentor and role model, promoting moral integrity, critical thinking, and community involvement among students.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum S1 in Education; preferred majors include S1 PGSD/MI, S1 Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, or related fields.
- Language Proficiency: Ability to read, write, and speak Arabic fluently; competent in Indonesian.
- Religious Knowledge: Strong grasp of Islamic studies, including Qur’an, Hadith, Fiqh, and Islamic history; able to guide students in memorizing at least Juz 30.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using IT tools to create instructional media, manage virtual classrooms, and support blended learning environments.
- Certification: Preference given to graduates of PPG PraJab or equivalent teacher training programs.
- Experience: Minimum 0 years of teaching experience; fresh graduates with strong academic records are encouraged to apply.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, empathy, classroom management, teamwork, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
- Age: No maximum age limit; candidates of any age who meet the qualifications are welcome.
