Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Guru Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan to join our dynamic team of educators. This position plays a pivotal role in shaping the civic consciousness of our students by teaching the fundamental principles of Pancasila, the Indonesian state philosophy, and fostering a deep understanding of citizenship. The successful candidate will work primarily in our Madin (evening Islamic school) program, where the integration of national values with Islamic teachings creates a unique learning environment.

Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with the national curriculum for Pancasila and Kewarganegaraan.
- Integrate Islamic values and the study of kitab kuning into civic education for Madin students, ensuring cultural relevance.
- Assess student performance through quizzes, assignments, projects, and oral examinations, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate attendance and grading records in compliance with institutional policies.
- Organize extracurricular activities such as debate clubs, community service projects, and national holidays celebrations to reinforce civic responsibilities.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and curriculum developers to continuously improve instructional strategies.
- Mentor students in developing critical thinking, ethical reasoning, and effective communication skills.
- Participate in regular faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and parent‑teacher conferences.
- Uphold the institution’s code of conduct, demonstrate loyalty, and model exemplary behavior for students.
- Prepare and supervise examinations, ensuring integrity and fairness in the assessment process.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, Social Sciences, Islamic Studies, or a related field; a Master’s degree (S2) is highly desirable.
- Graduates from recognized public universities (PTN) are preferred.
- No prior teaching experience required, but a strong commitment to lifelong learning is essential.
- For Madin teaching positions: ability to read kitab kuning fluently and mastery of Nahwu‑Shorof (Arabic grammar).
- Completion of at least five years of formal pesantren education, demonstrating a solid foundation in Islamic scholarship.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English is an advantage, facilitating access to diverse teaching resources.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage students of all genders and backgrounds.
- Demonstrated loyalty to institutional policies and a strong ethical compass.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
- Core competencies include lesson planning, classroom management, assessment design, and the development of teaching skills (Pengembangan Keterampilan Mengajar).
