As an Intern Business Development, you will support the creation of compelling proposals, conduct market research, and engage with potential partners, sponsors, and angel investors to accelerate Treestori’s growth trajectory.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Business Development team in drafting, editing, and polishing partnership and sponsorship proposals that clearly communicate Treestori’s value proposition.
- Conduct preliminary outreach to prospective partners, sponsors, and angel investors via email, phone, and virtual meetings, following up on leads generated by the senior team.
- Utilize Canva and Google Slides to design visually appealing presentations that effectively showcase product offerings, brand story, and partnership benefits.
- Manage simple data sets in Google Sheets, tracking outreach metrics, partnership pipelines, and ROI calculations.
- Perform market and competitor research to identify new collaboration opportunities, emerging trends in specialty coffee, and potential investment sources.
- Maintain a detailed log of research findings, contact information, and meeting notes to ensure seamless hand‑off to senior staff.
- Support the organization of networking events, webinars, and pitch sessions that connect Treestori with the broader coffee community.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including Marketing, Operations, and Finance—to align partnership strategies with overall business goals.
- Demonstrate proactive communication, confidence, and relationship‑building skills in all interactions.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Open to recent graduates or students; no upper age limit.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Canva, Google Slides, and Google Sheets for creating presentations and handling basic data analysis.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft clear, persuasive proposals.
- Research Ability: Detail‑oriented with a proven knack for conducting market research and identifying partnership opportunities.
- Soft Skills: Proactive attitude, confidence in outreach, enthusiasm for building professional relationships, and a collaborative mindset.
- Preferred Experience: Prior involvement in sponsorship proposal writing, active participation in student organizations or events, or any sales‑related experience.
- Work Schedule: Monday‑Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
