Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Retail Sales Cashier with a strong focus on customer service to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system accurately, scanning items, processing payments (cash, credit, digital wallets) and issuing receipts.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer by performing regular cash counts and reconciling discrepancies at the end of each shift.
- Greet customers warmly, answer product‑related questions, and provide recommendations that enhance the shopping experience.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with store policies while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and restock checkout areas, keeping bags, receipt paper, and promotional materials well‑supplied.
- Identify and report any suspicious activities or potential losses to management promptly.
- Collaborate with floor staff to manage peak‑hour traffic, ensuring queues move efficiently and customers are served promptly.
- Assist in daily store opening and closing procedures, including verifying cash totals, securing cash deposits, and preparing the register for the next day.
- Participate in periodic inventory counts and assist with merchandising tasks as needed.
- Continuously update knowledge of store promotions, loyalty programs, and new product lines to inform customers effectively.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Must be 28 years old or younger.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Key Skills: Proficiency with cash register systems, basic math, and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Personal Attributes: Honest, disciplined, agile, and capable of working under pressure during busy periods.
- Availability: Willing to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and a friendly, customer‑focused attitude.
