Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register and POS system accurately, processing sales transactions, returns, and exchanges in a timely manner.
- Verify customer payments, issue receipts, and handle cash, credit, and digital payment methods securely.
- Maintain an organized checkout area, ensuring that the workspace is clean, well‑stocked with bags, receipts, and promotional materials.
- Greet each customer with a warm, friendly attitude, answering basic product questions and directing them to appropriate store sections when needed.
- Assist in daily cash reconciliation, preparing end‑of‑day reports, and reporting any discrepancies to the store manager.
- Support inventory control by scanning items for stock counts, flagging low‑stock alerts, and reporting damaged goods.
- Collaborate with sales associates to ensure smooth customer flow during peak hours, helping to reduce wait times.
- Participate in regular training sessions on new promotions, loyalty programs, and updates to the cash handling procedures.
- Uphold all company policies regarding loss prevention, data security, and customer confidentiality.
- Provide feedback to management on customer trends, recurring issues, and suggestions for improving the checkout experience.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Open to candidates of any age, with a maximum of 0 years of experience required (entry‑level position).

- Strong interpersonal skills: Friendly, approachable, and capable of building rapport with a diverse customer base.
- Basic numeracy and computer literacy, especially familiarity with cash register or POS systems.
- Ability to work the scheduled hours: Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
