Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Retail Sales Cashier to join our dynamic team on a full‑time basis. This position is the frontline of our customer experience, ensuring that every transaction is processed efficiently, accurately, and with a friendly smile. The successful candidate will work in a fast‑paced retail environment, interacting with a diverse clientele while supporting store operations from Monday through Saturday.
Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system to process cash, credit, and digital payments quickly and accurately.
- Maintain an organized and balanced cash drawer, performing regular reconciliations and reporting any discrepancies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering product inquiries, and resolving minor issues on the spot.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and performing periodic stock counts.
- Promote store promotions, loyalty programs, and upsell complementary products to increase average transaction value.
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, well‑supplied, and complies with company standards for safety and hygiene.
- Collaborate with team members across departments to facilitate smooth store operations and meet daily sales targets.
- Handle customer complaints or returns professionally, escalating complex cases to the store supervisor as needed.
- Work under pressure during peak hours while maintaining composure, accuracy, and a positive attitude.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge, POS upgrades, and retail best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and courteously.
