Introduction
We are seeking a proactive and results‑driven Koordinator Field Collection to join our collections team in the vibrant city of Tangerang. This role is pivotal in maintaining healthy cash flow by engaging directly with our customers, ensuring timely repayment of instalments, and protecting the financial integrity of our portfolio. The ideal candidate will combine strong negotiation skills with an intimate knowledge of the Tangerang area, providing a professional and empathetic interface between the company and its borrowers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct face‑to‑face visits to delinquent borrowers across the Tangerang region, delivering clear explanations of outstanding balances, accrued interest, and any applicable penalties.
- Provide accurate payment schedules and negotiate realistic repayment plans that align with both customer capacity and company policy.
- Coordinate closely with the Desk Collection team, sharing up‑to‑date payment information, status reports, and any issues that arise during field visits.
- Track and document cases where borrowers are unreachable or where addresses cannot be verified, escalating these cases to senior management for further action.
- Maintain detailed field notes and update the central collection database in real time, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss collection strategies, share best practices, and contribute ideas for improving overall recovery rates.
- Provide feedback to the credit underwriting department regarding common reasons for default, helping to refine future lending criteria.
- Adhere strictly to company policies, legal guidelines, and ethical standards while performing collection activities, ensuring respectful treatment of all customers.
Requirements
- Age: 30‑40 years.
- Education: Minimum Diploma; high school (SMA/SMK) or equivalent is acceptable.
- Work experience: At least 2 years of proven experience in field collection or a related debt‑recovery role.
- Geographic knowledge: In‑depth familiarity with the Tangerang area, including neighborhoods, major streets, and local landmarks.
- Valid SIM C driver’s license with a clean record.
- Active collection certification (preferred but not mandatory).
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities, with a calm demeanor when handling difficult conversations.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Proficiency in basic office software (Microsoft Office, Excel) and the ability to learn our proprietary collection system quickly.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Work schedule: Monday to Saturday, 09:00 – 18:00.
