Introduction
The Koordinator Produksi Finishing plays a pivotal role in ensuring that printed materials leave our facility with flawless quality and on‑time delivery. This position bridges the gap between the printing press and the final product, overseeing every step of the finishing process—from cutting, laminating, and binding to quality inspection and packaging. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, fast‑paced printing house that serves a wide range of clients, including corporate branding, marketing agencies, and publishing houses.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily finishing operations for a variety of print jobs, ensuring adherence to production schedules and client specifications.
- Supervise and schedule the work of finishing technicians, assigning tasks such as die‑cutting, embossing, foil stamping, and UV coating.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, including laminators, binding machines, and plotters, to minimize downtime.
- Use CorelDRAW to prepare and adjust finishing files, verify artwork dimensions, and ensure proper registration before production.
- Conduct thorough quality checks at each stage of the finishing process, documenting any defects and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate closely with the pre‑press and printing teams to resolve technical issues and optimize workflow efficiency.
- Maintain accurate production logs, inventory records for consumables, and generate reports on output, waste, and turnaround times.
- Train new staff on safety protocols, equipment handling, and best practices for finishing techniques.
- Communicate proactively with clients regarding project status, revisions, and delivery timelines, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and adoption of new finishing technologies.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Proficiency in CorelDRAW, with the ability to manipulate vector files for finishing applications.
- Strong understanding of printing and finishing processes, including binding, laminating, embossing, and specialty coatings.
- Excellent attention to detail, combined with a creative mindset to suggest design enhancements.
- Demonstrated reliability, honesty, and a strong sense of responsibility in previous roles.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with internal teams and external clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast‑moving environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle moderate lifting of finished products.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, with regular hours from 08:00 to 17:00.
