Introduction
SPX Logistics is seeking energetic and reliable individuals to join our delivery team as a Kurir Motor (Motorcycle Courier) in the Jatinegara area of Jakarta Timur. This role is essential to our fast‑growing e‑commerce and logistics network, ensuring that parcels, documents, and small shipments reach customers quickly, safely, and with a high level of service professionalism. The position operates Monday through Saturday, from 09:00 to 18:00, offering a dynamic work environment in one of Jakarta’s most bustling districts.
Responsibilities
- Load, secure, and transport packages using a personal motorcycle, adhering to all traffic regulations and company safety standards.
- Plan optimal delivery routes using GPS and real‑time traffic data to meet promised delivery windows.
- Inspect orders before departure and after delivery to confirm item integrity and accuracy.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods from the motorcycle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, record mileage, fuel consumption, and report any incidents or delays to the operations supervisor.
- Communicate with customers courteously, obtain signatures or digital confirmations, and address any on‑site queries.
- Perform routine checks on the motorcycle (tires, brakes, lights, oil) to guarantee it remains in prime condition.
- Support the logistics team by reporting any recurring delivery challenges or opportunities for route optimization.
- Adhere to company policies regarding data privacy, handling of confidential shipments, and proper use of the mobile application for order management.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on safety, customer service, and efficient delivery techniques.
Requirements
- Own a well‑maintained motorcycle in good working order.
- Valid and active Indonesian SIM C driving license.
- Age between 18 and 45 years.
- Reside within or be willing to relocate to the Jatinegara area.
- Own an Android smartphone with a minimum of 3 GB RAM to run the SPX delivery app.
- Education: Open to all educational levels; high school diploma preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 15 kg repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time‑management skills and a commitment to punctuality.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑oriented attitude.
- Basic literacy in Indonesian and ability to read delivery instructions clearly.
