Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and detail‑oriented Estimator – Estimasi Biaya Proyek to join our growing construction team in the Aceh region. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in translating design concepts into accurate cost forecasts, supporting project managers, and ensuring that our projects are delivered on time and within budget. This full‑time position is based primarily in Langsa, with a strong preference for candidates residing in Aceh Tamiang or Aceh Timur. The work schedule runs from Monday to Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects using SketchUp, AutoCAD, and other industry‑standard tools.
- Develop Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and material take‑offs based on architectural and engineering drawings.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and procurement teams to validate design assumptions and resolve discrepancies.
- Analyze market trends, supplier quotations, and labor rates to ensure realistic and competitive pricing.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of historical cost data to improve the accuracy of future estimates.
- Provide regular cost‑control reports and variance analyses throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, clearly communicating estimation methodology and outcomes.
- Support the preparation of tender documents, bid proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Identify potential risk factors and suggest mitigation strategies to senior management.
- Continuously improve estimation processes by adopting best practices and emerging software features.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; technical or engineering background is a plus.
- At least 1‑2 years of hands‑on experience in construction cost estimating.
- Proficiency in SketchUp and AutoCAD; familiarity with other estimating software (e.g., CostX, Primavera) is advantageous.
- Strong analytical abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent verbal communication skills (Keterampilan Komunikasi Berbicara) and the ability to convey complex data in a clear, concise manner.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Preferred residency in Langsa, Aceh Tamiang, or Aceh Timur to facilitate on‑site coordination.
- Flexibility to work overtime when project deadlines demand it.
