Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Loss Prevention Officer to join our security team at the Pegangsaan Warehouse in North Jakarta. This full‑time position plays a critical role in safeguarding our assets, ensuring the safety of staff, and maintaining the integrity of our operations. The successful candidate will work closely with warehouse supervisors, logistics coordinators, and external law‑enforcement agencies to minimize shrinkage and protect company property.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze daily activities within the operational area to proactively identify potential loss risks, including theft, sabotage, or accidental damage.
- Conduct routine security inspections, verify compliance with established safety protocols, and ensure that all access points, CCTV systems, and alarm devices are functioning correctly.
- Lead thorough investigations of incidents involving theft, property damage, or inventory discrepancies, documenting findings and preparing detailed reports for senior management.
- Provide on‑site training sessions for warehouse staff, educating them on loss‑prevention policies, proper handling procedures, and emergency response actions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—such as inventory control, operations, and human resources—to develop rapid response plans and implement corrective actions that reduce future losses.
- Maintain accurate logs of all security activities, incident reports, and corrective measures, ensuring data is readily available for audit purposes.
- Act as the primary liaison with local police and private security consultants when external support is required.
- Participate in shift rotations and be prepared to travel between the main hub and satellite warehouses as needed.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years old.
- Gender: Male (as specified by operational requirements).
- Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in security, loss prevention, or a related field.
- Certifications: Preference for candidates holding Gada Pratama or Gada Madya security certificates.
- Willingness to be stationed at the Pegangsaan Warehouse and to work a shift‑based schedule.
- Availability to work five days a week, including public holidays and weekends, with flexibility for mobile assignments to other hubs or warehouses.
- Key competencies: strong observational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, integrity, ability to remain calm under pressure, and proficient in basic security administration and reporting tools.
