Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Restaurant & Banquet Manager to lead our food‑and‑beverage operations in a fast‑paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will oversee both the restaurant floor and banquet services, ensuring flawless guest experiences from casual dining to large‑scale events. This role reports directly to the General Manager and collaborates closely with culinary, sales, and finance teams.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute daily restaurant and banquet operations, including staffing, inventory control, and service standards.
- Develop and manage event schedules, ensuring each banquet adheres to client specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Lead a team of front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house staff, providing coaching, performance feedback, and training on service excellence.
- Monitor food and beverage costs, conduct regular stock takes, and implement waste‑reduction initiatives to meet profitability targets.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations; conduct regular audits and address any non‑conformities promptly.
- Act as the primary point of contact for guests, handling complaints, special requests, and ensuring a positive, service‑oriented atmosphere.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to design menu offerings that align with current trends, seasonal availability, and customer preferences.
- Prepare and analyze operational reports, including sales performance, labor productivity, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Drive marketing initiatives for banquet services, working with the sales department to attract corporate, wedding, and private events.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and serviced, coordinating with vendors for repairs and preventive maintenance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar restaurant or banquet management position.
- High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; additional hospitality or business education is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English; ability to convey information clearly to staff and guests.
- Positive attitude, high level of professionalism, and a genuine service‑oriented mindset.
- Proven ability to manage a diverse team, schedule shifts, and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage cost control, inventory management, and health‑safety standards.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional overtime for events.
