Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead the hospitality operations of our upscale hotel. This pivotal role will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s dining venues, from fine‑dining restaurants to casual lounges and room service. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast‑paced, luxury environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate all food and beverage activities to achieve the hotel’s financial targets and service standards.
  • Develop seasonal menus in collaboration with executive chefs, ensuring profitability while maintaining high culinary quality.
  • Supervise recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of F&B staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stocktakes, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing and product quality.
  • Implement and enforce health, safety, and hygiene regulations in accordance with local laws and international best practices.
  • Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports using Microsoft Excel, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to design promotional events, themed nights, and special banquets that enhance revenue.
  • Maintain a polished appearance and professional demeanor, representing the hotel’s brand to guests, partners, and the media.
  • Handle guest feedback promptly, turning challenges into opportunities for service recovery and loyalty building.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between the kitchen, front‑of‑house, and housekeeping departments for smooth operation.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 in Hospitality Management or a related field; a SMK/SMA background in hospitality is highly valued.
  • Maximum age: 40 years.
  • At least 2 years of proven experience as a Food & Beverage Manager in a hotel or comparable luxury setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis.
  • Strong communication skills and a personable, charismatic presence.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams, manage conflicts, and inspire high performance.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, with operating hours from 08:00 to 17:00.
