Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager – Online Account Opening for a leading state-owned bank (Bank BUMN). This role is pivotal in driving the bank’s digital acquisition strategy, expanding the online customer base, and strengthening the brand’s presence across Indonesia’s rapidly growing financial services market. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, leading a cross‑functional team to deliver measurable results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan to promote the bank’s online account opening platform, aligning with corporate growth targets.
  • Lead the creation of multi‑channel campaigns (digital, social media, email, SEM, affiliate, and offline events) to attract new retail and SME customers.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to continuously refine positioning and messaging.
  • Collaborate with product, IT, compliance, and sales teams to ensure seamless user experience and regulatory adherence throughout the onboarding journey.
  • Manage a team of marketing coordinators and external agencies, providing coaching, performance feedback, and fostering a culture of innovation.
  • Set KPI’s such as conversion rates, cost‑per‑acquisition, and customer lifetime value; monitor dashboards and present weekly/monthly performance reports to senior management.
  • Oversee budget planning, allocation, and optimization to maximize ROI while maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Drive brand awareness initiatives, including public relations, sponsorships, and community outreach, to enhance the bank’s reputation as a trusted digital banking partner.
  • Ensure all marketing materials comply with regulatory standards and internal risk policies.
  • Stay abreast of emerging digital marketing technologies (e.g., AI‑driven personalization, chatbots) and recommend adoption where appropriate.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field is highly preferred.
  • Age: Up to 60 years.
  • Gender: Open to all genders.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in marketing, preferably within banking, fintech, or a highly regulated industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong strategic leadership and decision‑making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia (both written and verbal) and the ability to convey complex ideas simply.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools (Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, SEO/SEM platforms) and analytics software (Google Analytics, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong analytical mindset with the capability to interpret data, draw insights, and translate them into actionable strategies.
  • High level of integrity, compliance awareness, and a customer‑centric attitude.
  • Flexibility to work Monday‑Saturday, 08:30 – 16:00, with occasional attendance at events outside regular hours.
