We are seeking a dedicated Spesialis Terapi Wicara to join our multidisciplinary team in Palangka Raya. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders for patients ranging from toddlers to senior adults.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that align with evidence‑based practices, cultural considerations, and family goals.
- Deliver direct therapy sessions using a variety of techniques, such as articulation drills, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and oral‑motor exercises.
- Monitor and document client progress with detailed reports, adjusting therapeutic approaches as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, occupational therapists, psychologists, and educators to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
- Provide caregiver training and education on home‑practice activities, reinforcement strategies, and the use of assistive technology.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences, contributing professional insights and recommendations.
- Maintain compliance with national health regulations, uphold ethical standards, and keep the STR registration active.
- Engage in community outreach programs, school visits, and health fairs to promote speech‑language awareness.
- Continuously pursue professional development through workshops, conferences, and peer‑reviewed literature to stay current with emerging therapeutic modalities.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Speech‑Language Pathology or a related field.
- Active STR registration recognized by the Indonesian health authority.
- At least 1 year of clinical experience working with diverse populations, including pediatric and adult clients.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in developing evidence‑based treatment plans and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00–17:00, with occasional overtime for urgent cases.
- Open to candidates of any gender; candidates residing outside Palangka Raya must be willing to relocate.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and continuous learning.
