Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Manajer Operasional Kitchen to lead our culinary team and ensure seamless day‑to‑day kitchen operations. This role is pivotal in maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and efficiency within a fast‑paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of practical kitchen knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and service, to guarantee consistency and excellence.
  • Develop and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for peak periods while adhering to labor cost budgets.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks, order supplies, and negotiate with vendors to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Implement and enforce food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in compliance with local regulations and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with the menu development team to introduce new dishes, adjust recipes for cost efficiency, and ensure timely rollout.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen personnel, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous learning.
  • Monitor kitchen equipment performance, coordinate routine maintenance, and troubleshoot operational issues promptly.
  • Analyze daily production reports, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, labor expenses, and operational metrics for senior management review.
  • Lead health and safety audits, address non‑compliance findings, and promote a safe working environment for all staff.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age limit: Maximum 30 years.
  • Gender: Female (preference as per company policy).
  • Relevant experience in kitchen operations or a similar supervisory role (0+ years acceptable, fresh talent encouraged).
  • Proven ability to operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
  • Strong teamwork orientation with the ability to motivate and coordinate diverse staff members.
  • Creative mindset, able to suggest menu enhancements and process improvements.
  • High level of agility, quick decision‑making, and problem‑solving under pressure.
  • Commitment to working Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
