Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Officer to join our expanding team in Samarinda, Kalimantan. This full‑time position is ideal for recent graduates or early‑career professionals who are eager to develop a career in B2B and B2C sales within a fast‑growing industry. The successful candidate will act as the primary bridge between our product portfolio and both existing and prospective customers, driving revenue while upholding the highest standards of service and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Promote and sell the company’s product line to existing clients and actively prospect new customers across the Samarinda region.
- Secure orders through channel distribution partners, ensuring accurate initial data entry and thorough verification of customer documentation.
- Prepare and complete credit applications, liaising with the finance department to expedite approvals.
- Monitor the progress of each credit application and promptly communicate approval or rejection decisions to dealers and end‑users.
- Inform customers of payment terms, due dates, and collection locations, and provide any additional information required for a smooth transaction.
- Maintain up‑to‑date records of customer interactions, order statuses, and follow‑up activities using the company’s CRM system.
- Collaborate with internal teams—marketing, logistics, and after‑sales support—to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
- Identify market trends, gather competitor intelligence, and suggest actionable improvements to sales strategies.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings, presenting performance metrics and pipeline forecasts.
- Uphold the company’s brand image through ethical conduct, punctuality, and consistent customer engagement.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3 (associate degree) in any field; high school (SMA/SMK) graduates are also considered.
- Age: 30 years maximum.
- Open to fresh graduates; prior experience of at least 1 year in a similar sales role is a strong advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven negotiation abilities.
- High level of integrity, perseverance, attention to detail, and honesty.
- Valid driver’s license (SIM A/C) and personal vehicle for field visits.
- Ability to work Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑16:00, and adapt to the local domicile for placement.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and familiarity with CRM tools.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
