Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Mechanic Helper – Operational Support to join our dynamic maintenance team. This entry‑level position is ideal for individuals who have recently completed high school or vocational training and are eager to develop hands‑on mechanical skills in a fast‑paced industrial environment. As a vital part of the support crew, you will assist senior technicians, ensure tools and equipment are ready for use, and help maintain a safe and organized workspace.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior mechanics with routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of machinery and equipment.
- Prepare work areas by gathering tools, parts, and safety gear before each job shift.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and tightening components under supervision.
- Record work performed, parts used, and time spent on each task in the maintenance log.
- Support inventory management by checking stock levels, labeling new parts, and reporting shortages.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper lock‑out/tag‑out procedures, to prevent accidents.
- Transport tools and equipment between workstations, ensuring they are stored correctly after use.
- Assist in the set‑up and breakdown of equipment for scheduled production runs or special projects.
- Participate in regular training sessions to improve technical knowledge and soft‑skill competencies.
- Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High school diploma (SMA), vocational high school (SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Open to candidates of any age, with a preference for recent graduates.
