We are seeking a reliable and motivated Office Boy/Girl to join our Batam branch. As an integral part of our facilities team, you will support daily operations by ensuring that office spaces, common areas, and equipment are kept in impeccable condition. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of all office rooms, corridors, meeting spaces, and restrooms, adhering to company hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of office equipment such as printers, scanners, and telephone sets, ensuring they are dust‑free and operational.
- Inspect facilities daily for any maintenance issues (e.g., leaks, broken furniture) and promptly report them to the facilities manager.
- Collect and dispose of waste in accordance with recycling and safety guidelines.
- Replenish supplies in restrooms and kitchenettes, including soap, paper towels, and sanitary products.
- Assist with setting up rooms for meetings or events, arranging chairs, tables, and ensuring presentation equipment is ready.
- Follow proper handling and storage procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe workplace.
- Support occasional logistical tasks such as delivering documents, small parcels, or refreshments within the office premises.
- Maintain a log of cleaning activities and any incidents or repairs needed, providing clear communication with supervisors.
- Contribute to a positive workplace culture by greeting visitors courteously and providing assistance when needed.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- No age limit; applicants of any age who can meet the physical demands are encouraged to apply.
- All genders are welcome.
- Prior experience as an Office Boy/Girl is preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Ability to follow standard cleaning procedures and maintain high levels of cleanliness.
- Basic knowledge of using cleaning tools and equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and floor polishers.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot maintenance issues early.
- Good communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights throughout an 8‑hour shift.
- Willingness to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 16:00.
