Introduction
BNI Life, the insurance arm of Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI), is seeking dynamic and motivated individuals to join our growing network of Bancassurance Specialists (BAS) in the East Java region. This role is a unique opportunity to represent BNI Life within BNI bank branches, promoting a comprehensive suite of life insurance products to individual customers. Successful candidates will work in vibrant outlets located in Malang, Pasuruan, Blitar, Ngawi, and Pacitan, contributing to the financial security of thousands of Indonesians while advancing their own sales careers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for life insurance products within the assigned BNI branch, aligning targets with regional performance goals.
- Conduct proactive outreach and consultative selling to walk‑in and pre‑qualified customers, guiding them through product features, benefits, and underwriting processes.
- Maintain accurate client records in the CRM system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Collaborate closely with bank staff—including tellers, relationship managers, and branch managers—to create cross‑selling opportunities and streamline the customer journey.
- Organize and deliver product presentations, workshops, and financial needs analysis sessions for both individual clients and small business owners.
- Negotiate terms, handle objections, and close sales while preserving the high service standards expected of BNI and BNI Life.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to continuously refine sales tactics and product positioning.
- Participate in regular training, certification programs, and performance reviews to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum education: S1 (any discipline) or D3; high school (SMA) candidates with strong sales experience are also considered.
- Age: 20‑35 years (flexible for fresh graduates within the specified range).
- At least 1‑2 years of proven experience in financial services, banking, or insurance marketing.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; ability to explain complex insurance concepts in simple terms.
- Professional appearance and a clean, well‑groomed demeanor.
- Strong interest in sales and a results‑oriented mindset.
- Not listed as an active participant in the Indonesian Financial Services Authority (AAJI) blacklist.
- Residency within or willing to relocate to the designated outlet area (Malang, Pasuruan, Blitar, Ngawi, Pacitan).
- Core competencies: financial needs analysis, life insurance underwriting basics, analytical thinking, and customer relationship management.
