Introduction
The Officer Security External & Relations will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the plant’s assets while fostering positive relationships with local communities, government agencies, and external partners. Based in the strategic industrial hub of Gunung Putri, Bogor, this position offers a dynamic environment where security management intersects with corporate social responsibility (CSR) and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operational security across the manufacturing facility, ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to and that the plant remains a secure environment for employees and visitors.
- Monitor and manage access control systems for all zones, including perimeter gates, production areas, and restricted zones, and conduct regular audits of badge issuance and visitor logs.
- Maintain comprehensive security administration records, such as incident reports, patrol logs, and external liaison documentation, to provide transparent and auditable data for management.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, conduct preliminary investigations, and prepare detailed reports for senior management and, when required, for law enforcement agencies.
- Support CSR initiatives by coordinating security aspects of community outreach programs, ensuring that events are safe, well‑controlled, and align with the company’s social commitment.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with local residents, municipal authorities, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth operations and proactive issue resolution.
- Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and service providers, ensuring they comply with the company’s security standards and contractual obligations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, recommend mitigation strategies, and assist in the development of emergency response and business continuity plans.
- Provide training and awareness sessions for staff on security best practices, emergency procedures, and effective communication with external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any discipline; security‑related certifications are a plus.
- At least 1 year of experience in security operations, external relations, or a related field; fresh graduates with strong internship experience are also considered.
- Prior exposure to the FMCG or manufacturing sector is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts clearly to both internal teams and external partners.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical mindset, capable of interpreting security data and identifying trends.
- Willingness to be based full‑time in Gunung Putri, Bogor, with a standard work schedule of Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00.
- Physical fitness to conduct regular patrols and respond to emergencies as needed.
