Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Operator Mesin Selepan Padi to join our rice milling facility. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that our padi (rice) processing lines run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This full‑time position operates on a standard 08:00 – 17:00 schedule with the flexibility to work shifts or overtime when production demands require it. Candidates must be male, aged 35 or younger, and possess at least a junior high school (SMP/MTS) or equivalent education. Physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality are essential for thriving in our fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the selepan/penggilingan padi machines, adjusting speed, feed rates, and other parameters to meet production targets.
- Conduct routine cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance of equipment to minimize downtime and extend machinery lifespan.
- Inspect incoming rice batches for quality, report any irregularities, and ensure that the milling process adheres to food safety standards.
- Record production data, including output quantities, machine performance, and any incidents, and communicate these logs to supervisors.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for timely repairs and respond promptly to any mechanical failures.
- Maintain a tidy work area, ensuring that waste, husks, and by‑products are disposed of according to environmental guidelines.
- Participate in shift handovers, providing clear updates on machine status, pending tasks, and any safety concerns.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by offering suggestions for process optimization and energy savings.
Requirements
- Male applicant, maximum age of 35 years.
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or SMK/sederajat (technical vocational background is a plus).
- At least 1 year of experience operating rice milling or similar processing equipment; prior experience as a selepan operator is highly valued.
- Good physical health, both bodily and mental, with the ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate loads.
- Strong discipline, honesty, and a sense of responsibility in handling machinery and production data.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented shift environment.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime, to meet production schedules.
- Quick adaptation skills, enabling rapid learning of new equipment or procedural changes.
