Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Pekerja Harian Bidang Teknik to join our dynamic team at a reputable 3‑ to 4‑star hotel. This full‑time, daily‑worker position offers a stable schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, and provides an excellent opportunity for individuals with a solid technical background to apply their skills in a hospitality environment. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and civil engineering systems.
- Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces to identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Coordinate with the engineering supervisor to prioritize work orders and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment or renovation projects within the property.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, material usage, and time spent on each task using the hotel’s maintenance management system.
- Provide technical support during events, conferences, and high‑occupancy periods, ensuring all facilities operate seamlessly.
- Participate in preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of building systems and reduce unexpected breakdowns.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, front‑desk, and food‑and‑beverage teams to address guest requests that involve technical assistance.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies, including proper handling of hazardous materials and equipment.
- Continuously improve technical knowledge through on‑the‑job training, workshops, and industry certifications.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age limit: up to 35 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- At least 2 – 4 years of relevant experience in a similar technical role within a 3‑ or 4‑star hotel.
- Solid understanding of civil engineering basics, building maintenance, and hotel‑specific technical standards.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia (both written and verbal) and a customer‑service mindset.
- Passionate, enthusiastic, and energetic personality with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets.
- Ability to work physically demanding tasks, lift moderate loads, and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license is a plus, as occasional off‑site vendor coordination may be required.
