Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and customer‑focused Kasir (Penjualan) to join the vibrant team at Toko Pluit. Located in the bustling Pluit district, our store offers a wide range of everyday goods and specialty items to a diverse clientele. As the front‑line ambassador of the store, the cashier plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth transactions, fostering positive customer experiences, and supporting overall sales performance. Responsibilities
- Accurately process cash, credit, and digital payments using the store’s POS (Point‑of‑Sale) system.
- Issue receipts, handle refunds, and manage exchange transactions while adhering to company policies.
- Maintain a tidy and organized checkout area, ensuring that all equipment (cash drawer, scanner, receipt printer) is functioning properly.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, provide recommendations, and resolve any concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
- Conduct end‑of‑day cash reconciliation, preparing detailed reports for the shift manager.
- Support inventory control by performing periodic stock counts, reporting discrepancies, and assisting with merchandise replenishment.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to achieve daily sales targets and promote store promotions.
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards, especially when handling food‑related items in the F&B section.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay up‑to‑date on new POS features, product knowledge, and customer service best practices.
Requirements
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Age: Maximum 30 years.
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior cashier experience, preferably in the Food & Beverage (F&B) sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems; basic computer literacy.
- Personal Attributes: Honest, meticulous, and highly responsible; friendly demeanor with strong communication skills.
- Work Schedule: Ability to work rotating shifts, Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
- Additional Skills: Ability to multitask under pressure, maintain composure during peak hours, and handle cash securely.
