Introduction
We are seeking a diligent Quality Assurance (QA) Fresh specialist to join our fast‑growing logistics hub in Kota Bekasi. This role focuses on maintaining the highest standards for fresh, frozen, and perishable goods as they move through inbound processes and storage facilities. The successful candidate will play a critical part in safeguarding product integrity, minimizing waste, and ensuring that our customers receive only the best quality items.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough visual and sensory inspections of fresh, frozen, and perishable products during inbound receipt and while they reside in the hub.
- Identify “bad stock” – items that do not meet safety or quality standards – and promptly update inventory status in coordination with hub staff.
- Monitor temperature controls in chillers, freezers, and ambient storage areas using calibrated thermometers, adhering to established SOPs.
- Verify that products are stored according to temperature zones, FIFO (first‑in‑first‑out) principles, and packaging requirements; coordinate relocation or corrective actions when deviations are observed.
- Collect, record, and digitize all inspection data, ensuring traceability for audit purposes.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily reports summarizing inspection outcomes, temperature logs, and any corrective measures taken.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors, inventory managers, and logistics coordinators to streamline stock handling and reduce spoilage.
- Participate in periodic internal audits and external inspections, providing necessary documentation and insights.
- Assist in training new staff on quality inspection techniques and proper use of temperature‑monitoring equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates only, aged 35 years or younger.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in retail, warehousing, or distribution of fresh produce, fruits, or meat.
- Proven ability to assess the freshness and safety of perishable goods using visual, tactile, and olfactory cues.
- Strong attention to detail, agility, and a high sense of responsibility.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, night) to ensure 24‑hour coverage.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and report generation.
- Good communication skills to effectively liaise with hub staff and management.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
