Introduction
Bolde Store, a leading retail chain in Balikpapan, is seeking a dynamic Team Leader (Kepala Toko) to oversee daily operations at our bustling Bolde Store location. This role is pivotal in driving sales performance, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and fostering a motivated team environment. The successful candidate will work a Tuesday‑to‑Sunday schedule from 08:00 to 17:00, handling both strategic and hands‑on responsibilities in a fast‑paced retail setting.
Responsibilities
- Directly manage and supervise all aspects of store operations, ensuring smooth service delivery throughout each business day.
- Address customer complaints promptly, turning potential issues into opportunities for loyalty and brand advocacy.
- Maintain accurate customer data, oversee the execution of sales records, and monitor team performance against targets.
- Assist shoppers in locating products, provide detailed product knowledge, and answer inquiries to maximize conversion rates.
- Take full accountability for cash flow, including daily cash‑in/out, reconciliation, and supporting cashiers during peak periods.
- Coordinate in‑store promotions, marketing displays, and visual merchandising to align with corporate campaigns and seasonal trends.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and work closely with the supply chain team to ensure product availability and quality standards.
- Uphold store security protocols, enforce cleanliness standards, and ensure a safe environment for customers and staff.
- Develop weekly work schedules, conduct shift handovers, and provide coaching to improve team productivity and morale.
- Analyze sales reports, identify growth opportunities, and propose actionable plans to senior management.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a store leadership or supervisory role within the retail sector.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers, staff, and management.
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and non‑cash transaction processing.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, plan strategically, and make decisive operational choices.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
